Zemun station, Belgrade, Serbia

Two scenes circa 1910 of the former station of Zemun slightly to the northeast of Belgrade, during the period of the Austro-Hungarian empire (hence the German and Hungarian versions of the name). The main line from Budapest was built over 1880-1883 to Zemun and the following year it was extended across the Sava river into a terminal station in Belgrade itself.  This station was later bypassed and eventually demolished.
